Dr. Sandra Bume Nambangi is a women’s advocate who spent several years educating and empowering girls of African descent in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. This journey began with the Minnesota African Women’s Association (MAWA), where she worked hard educating young girls and preparing them in navigating life in the USA. She is passionate about educating young people and has a deep love for literature. Dr. Sandra interned at Roseville Area Schools where she earned a Superintendent license as well as a teacher’s license in the state of Minnesota. She received her doctorate in Educational Administration and Leadership, K-12 from St. Cloud State University, Minnesota. Dr. Sandra also holds a Master of Arts degree in English from Johannes-Gutenburg University, Mainz, Germany, and a Master of Science in Gender and Women’s Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
